Pat's run.

Casey and the kids ran in Pat's Run yesterday. They all did great. I'm really proud of Casey and the kids.

Steady hands...

It's a family tradition to stand in dad's hands.  I have pictures of me in my dad's hands (somewhere) and all our kids do also.

Presley...

Presley will be 6 mos. old tomorrow.  She is such a happy little girl.  She melts our hearts with her constant open-mouthed grins.

Here are some bare buns...

Diesel 5th B-day

Diesel turned five after spring break.  We didn't really plan a party, but he ended up with a couple of his friends and his sisters going bowling.  Then his aunt Kim and uncle Dan rented him a jumpy castle thingy as a surprise.  The kids loved it.  He also got a new BMX-style bike for his birthday which he loves (and crashed within the first few minutes).  He was eager to break it in.  Diesel is in the black Fitzgerald jersey.

Spring Break 2012 in San Diego

We got to enjoy spring break this year in San Diego.  My brother has a home there. He and his family are in  Houston, however, for an oral surgery rotation, but they were kind enough to let us stay there anyway.  We really appreciate Jared and Janelle for letting us stay there.  The temps were in the 80s before we got there, but actually stayed around 60 for the week we were there (boo).  We had a great time together though.  We went to Point Loma and played in the tide pools and then hung out at Seal Cove in La Jolla.  We had lots of fun eating at the Corvette Diner (which moved locations by-the-way) too.  We ate great Mexican food in Old Town and even panned for gold at the Mormon Batallion.  We can't wait to go back.  The only thing that would've made it better was if Jared and his family were there to play with us.

Here's some pics at the San Diego Temple.

La Jolla.  There were about 25 surfers there.  We watched them from some benches for about an hour.  Great view.

Point Loma tide pools.  The kids found crabs, an octopus, shells, snails, and a dead lobster.  They loved it there.
